White water kayakers tend to have a tradition that if you swim on the river, flip over and have to pull your skirt, you have to chug a beer out of your bootie. That’s more of a punishment though. Ricciardo seems to do this for fun, and I would imagine a race shoe is much nastier than a river bootie at the end of the day.
